Graduate Teaching Assistant - Advanced Software Engineering (CS 6301)
Head TA, Georgia Tech, School of Computer Science, 2021
During the Fall semester of 2021, I served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for the Advanced Software Engineering course (CS 6301), taught by Prof. Alessandro Orso at Georgia Tech, Department of Computer Science. This role involved not only grading and running office hours but also the creation of rubrics for assessments.
The course catered to graduate students and delved into advanced topics in software engineering. My responsibilities included interacting closely with students, addressing their questions and providing clarification on complex software engineering concepts during office hours. I also played a key role in developing grading rubrics, ensuring fair and objective assessment of students’ work.
This experience further honed my technical skills and deepened my understanding of advanced software engineering principles. Moreover, the opportunity to guide and assist a diverse group of graduate students enriched my communication skills and my ability to present complex information in a clear, understandable way.
